This day of prayer comes at a time of fear, unrest and uncertainty in our country – especially for our immigrant brothers and sisters who are undocumented, and their children and loved ones.
In keeping with the Feast, I’m quite certain that Our Lady will be quite pleased to hear our prayers for our immigrants and refugees as she was with the poor Native peoples to whom she revealed over 450 years ago over against, and in conflict with, the authorites of the day!
